My Focus

My focus will continue to be guided by the feedback I receive from residents, township & city officials, local businesses, and community leaders throughout District 3.

I believe leadership starts with listening, and the focus items below reflect many of the issues, concerns, and opportunities that have been discussed during conversations across Cass County District 3.

Disciplined Fiscal Responsibility

Taxpayer dollars should be managed with discipline, accountability, and long-term planning. I will support balanced budgets, responsible spending, and careful evaluation of county investments to ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently. County government should remain focused on delivering value to residents while maintaining the essential services our communities depend on.

Public Safety & Emergency Services

Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of county government. I support our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and first responders who work every day to protect our communities. I will work to ensure these services have the resources, equipment, and support needed to serve residents effectively.

Strong Township & City Partnerships

Townships and cities play a critical role in serving local communities. I believe county government works best when it collaborates with township & city officials, listens to local concerns, and respects local input. Strong partnerships between the county and our city & townships help ensure better communication, better decisions, and better outcomes for residents.

Economic Growth & Local Business

Local businesses are the backbone of our communities. I support maintaining a business-friendly environment that encourages investment, job creation, and economic growth while preserving the character and values that make Cass County unique. Strong businesses help strengthen our communities and support our local tax base.

Infrastructure & Transportation

Well-maintained infrastructure is essential to public safety, economic growth, and quality of life. I support responsible investment in county roads, bridges, facilities, and other critical infrastructure assets. Infrastructure decisions should be based on long-term planning, sound financial management, and the needs of residents and businesses.

Private Property Rights Protection

Private property rights are fundamental and should be respected. I will work to ensure county decisions are fair, transparent, and consistent while balancing the interests of property owners, communities, and future generations.

Natural Resources & Quality of Life

The lakes, forests, and outdoor opportunities found throughout Cass County are among our greatest assets. I support responsible stewardship of our natural resources while preserving the quality of life that attracts families, businesses, visitors, and retirees to our communities. We can protect what makes Cass County special while planning responsibly for the future.

Cass County should be open, accessible, and accountable to the people it serves.

Seniors and Veterans

I believe seniors and veterans deserve a strong voice in county government. I will continue to listen to their concerns, learn where county services are working well and where improvements may be needed, and support practical solutions that help them remain safe, independent, and connected to the resources available in our communities.

Health, Human & Veteran Services

Provide essential services with accountability, efficiency, and compassion. I support helping those in need while respecting taxpayers and ensuring resources are managed responsibly and effectively.
